Suzanne Hart. "Fans of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park fight two invasive plants threatening wildflowers." The Press-Enterprise, April 5, 2017. The article notes that about 100 invasive plant species have been found in the park and focuses specifically on Voluntaria tubuliflora and Sahara mustard. The Anza-Borrego Foundation has organized volunteer weedings in the winter months to counter these plants and posted flyers on how to identify and stop the spread of them.
