Scenes from a June 25, 2021 visit.
Ducks and ducklings in a) chaos.  b) order.  It was amusing to watch some of the ducklings walk on the algae carpet in places rather than swimming through.
Black-crowned night-heron (Nycticorax nycticorax, Order Pelecaniformes, Family Ardeidae - Herons >).
Great egret (Ardea Alba, Order Pelecaniformes, Family Ardeidae - Herons >).  The bird is much bigger that the Snowy egret and has a yellow beak and black feet).
Willet (Tringa semipalmata, Order Charadriiformes, Family Scolopacidae - Sandpipers >).
Brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis, Order Pelecaniformes, Family Pelecanidae >).


Also there were a number of swallows zipping around the beach.

Lots of signs, but no Western Snowy Plovers were spotted.
