  Dear Ron & Hazel

Christmas time again!  Its hard to believe it – it must be 80 degrees F outside – one of this blue-sky'ed warm Southern California days that bring the tourists in (too bad that it happens rarely so most of them miss it!!)

How are things in merry old England?  We are still going along as usual.  Michael's at USC.  He took the summer off – spent 2 months in hospital with a spinal fusion and staph infection.  He's better now – goes to work etc but wears a brace and cant trim hedges yet ('Course he never did do that anyway!)

I'm working mornings at the local elementary school in 2, 3rd and 4th grade classes (8 - 9 yr olds) as an aid in our so called early education programme.  (It's a cheap way to get more adults in the class room (I'm cheap labor).  The hours are good tho and it keeps me out of mischief.  The boys are fine.  Busy with school. piano, soccer, etc.  Eric is now 13 (a teen ager!) and Mig is 11, Lex is 8.  Hope you have a good next year.  Let us hear from you!  Regards to Prince Charlie.
