(picture is of a wild cucumber in the hills behind our house)    Dec 85 Dear Ron & Hazel,       Christmas snuck up on me this year—hope this reaches you in time to bring our wishes for a merry one.       M. Michael, after 4 yars as Chairman of Biology is now settling back into being a plain professor once again.  He has a heavy teaching load coming up next semester so is back to studying the basics.  Poor him!       I am managing both the Chemical and Glassware stockrooms of the Chem Dept at USC, so I'm busy too.        Miguel is a Senior in Botany at UC Berkeley.  Alex is a freshman at Stanford and Eric is soon to leave for 6 mos. in France.        With all good wishes for the coming year       Irma and Michael
