December 1992 Dear Ron & Hazel      'Tis the Christmas season once again--Time sure does fly.  We're about the same as we were last year at this time--at least were still working away at USC.        Our Card this year is from Pescadero State Beach which is just south of San Francisco.  The flower is Paint Brush.  We visited there on the last day of a 2 week vacation in may & June which took us to northern CA and Oregon.  Our only other vacation like venture was a trip to Baja California, where we flew to La Paz and Did nothing except eat swim sleep and read.       Our family is fine.  Eric the eldest and Alex the youngest are still leading the student life.  Miguel picked up master's degree #2 from stanford and is now teaching High School Science in San Mateo (south of San Francisco).        Isn't it wonderful news about Fischer & Krebs! As I write this they must be in Sweden picking up their prize.       With Best wishes for 1993--The Applemans ______________ 17 December Dear Mom, Here it is your official greeting card from us.  Once again I've about gotten all my cards written.  It sure is a time consuming process!—and  I seem to finish latter every year. Our kids start coming in Sunday (thats Eric) and finish arriving Monday night.  Plan to head out to Anza Borrego early on the 23rd.   We are hoping for sunshine and no rain out there (can do without wind & snow also).  It is pouring outside now so who knows what we'll find.  Meantime, have a Merry Christmas.
