Dear Don and Susana,

Another year has flown by—where have you been? We must get together after the New Year. For us, 1999 has been rather stressful – We have Redone our Kitchen with designer input at the end of March and the almost completion stage in November. A long time to be so focused. Anyway the kitchen works tho the mess is not entirely cleared up yet.

Michael has been over-worked this last semester. He is mumbling about retirement or/and sabaticals. They just do not have enough staff and professors to do the work in Biology. MMA has been working 11 hr days + 1 day a weekend. Pretty sad.

Otherwise we are fine. Hope to Drive North to Visit Miguel & Alex-Duva, and my Brothrs family over Christmas. (Escapeism!!!)
