COREOPSIS GIGANTEA BLOOMS IN MARCH AND IS ENDEMIC TO THE COASTAL DUNES AND BLUFFS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.  THIS FELLOW SEEN AMONG OTHER CALIFORNIA NATIVES, LIVES IN OUR BACK YARD. Dec 12, 2001 Dear Ron and Hazel       We are all fine and hope you are too.  Michael retired in June but still puts in a lot of time at USC.  This year we have had several trips visiting friends & relatives in Northern California.  Otherwise we have been pretty much homebodies.        With best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a new year filled with smiling people and cheerful flowers!
