December 08 Dear Ron and Hazel,     Time certainly zips by!  I am really late sending out our Christmas cards - We chose a picture of our Orchid Cactus (Epiphyllum) to send out this year.  It seemed Christmassy even tho it bloomed in May.     We stay mostly around home these days.  Usually we get short walks on around the Neighborhood.  Michael has alsheimers disease and feels more comfortable here.  He still communicates well and is "not out of it" so to speak except for reading and where  pots and pans go.     I spend a lot of my time out in the garden.  I have a large bulb garden out back with granit boulders scattered around in it.  I have tried growing food plants but the squirrels here eat every thing edible.     With best wishes from Michael & Irma
