Dear Ron & Hazel,     Were still here in the Palisades — not planning to go anywhere else.  In fact Michael has Alsheimers disease and Arthritus, both of which are not nice.     This summer we sold our car, and nowdays go for walks — up or down our canyon or up town for groceries.  We certainly are happy we bought our house close to everything we'd need.     Our kids are planning to be here at Christmas, Miguel teaches (still) in San Mateo High Scool (near San Francisco), Eric, who into politics in Washington DC, and Alex who is a lecturer to basic Biology at Davis Calif. (a branch of the University of CA)     Best wishes for the New Year from us!!!                                          Michael and Irma Appleman
